This is a collection of information
that I have found to be helpful and
trust through research but I am
not a professional and cannot
guarantee that it will be of use
for all.
I have begun this focused on the
topics that are most familiar to
me, but will continue to develop
and expand this over time, both
in depth and variety.
Other Resources
LA Wildfire Relief:
Mutual Aid LA - The Mutual Aid LA team is maintaining a list of resources available to those affected by the fires in the Google Sheet below and will update it with new resources or calls for volunteers & donations.
California Community Foundation - Using data from Calfire and the CDC's Social Vulnerability index to target those most in need, The CCF Wildfire Recovery Fund provides life-saving support: safe housing, medical aid, infrastructure rebuilding, financial assistance, firefighter safety gear, and more.
Although we can only work with one organization at a time, there are plenty of initiatives we believe need addressing. That is what spawned "Other Resources," a list of organizations we have either had the pleasure of working with in the past or are just believers in their mission. Please take a look through the list and visit their websites to learn more about how to donate, volunteer, or aid in their goals. If you have any suggestions of other organizations you believe should be on this list, please send them to hola@paratodo.co :)
If you have comments, questions, concerns, or additional resources, please don’t hesitate to reach out at gemenhe@umich.edu.
